Notre Dame Hosts 16th Annual Leadership Conference!

The Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School Business Leadership class was thrilled to present the 16th Annual Business Leadership Conference this past May.

This student-led conference is an annual event which aims to educate and inspire Notre Dame students through meaningful discussions and special guest speakers. The theme of this year's conference was Venture: Dare to Discover, encouraging students to be brave, take risks, and discover their true passions.

This year's keynote speaker was Hayley Wickenheiser, a former ice hockey champion, playing on the Canadian women's national ice hockey team for 23 years! She represented Canada 5 times at the Winter Olympics, and is currently the Assistant Director of Player Development for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The conference also provides an opportunity to celebrate recipients of Notre Dame's Excellence Awards program, which recognizes graduates and faculty members for their leadership and commitment to excellence. Congratulations to this year's recipients: Travis Flippance, Notre Dame student; and Mr. Odorico, current faculty member!

Special thanks is extended to Mr. Barbati, Ms. Power and the executive team for leading and inspiring their school to create a conference that has a lasting impact on the Notre Dame community! For more information on this year's conference, visit: www.ndbusinessleadership.com
